As a retired wildlife biologist, my passion for the natural world has evolved from fieldwork to painting. After years of studying animals up close, I now seek to preserve their spirit on canvas, especially as many species face growing threats. My work focuses on capturing animals with anatomical precision and emotional authenticity, often set against atmospheric backgrounds to highlight their timeless, untamed essence.

Each subject I paint is drawn from personal experience and holds deep meaning for me. I’m especially inspired by raw, authentic moments that reflect the beauty and balance of life in the wild. As a self-taught artist, every painting is shaped by years of observation and a lifelong dedication to wildlife. Through my art, I hope to bring viewers closer to the incredible diversity and true spirit of the natural world.
